Or you can consider me a friend and hype-woman for your next photography session. I’m in year four of creating dope images and I’m passionate about capturing the raw, real, and intimate emotions of each individual that graces my camera. Photography, specifically composition, posing, and color grading, came really natural for me after discovering my craft. But I have continuously poured into my passion in order to serve the best way possible. I’m inspired and driven by knowing there aren’t many photographers that look like me in the Black community who embody the style of photography I have: documentary-style, candid, and detail oriented vibrant images.
As I’ve grown consistent in my style and brand, I’ve become the go-to photographer for the individuals who are seeking timeless, classic, photography they can feel.

More about me…
I’m originally from Charlotte, NC - born and raised (I know… a unicorn these days). I’m a wife of an amazingly supportive husband and a mom of the most precious human beings on the planet. With our faith being the center of our household, we have been blessed beyond measure throughout the years.
Photographs have always been something I’ve cherished over the years, but more pronounced after my family lost a jewel in our family. After not having one recent picture of me and my Nana, I pushed for more photographs in my own family. I found any and every reason to have a photoshoot with the people I love as I realized you can never have too many memories captured. Fast forward to my first DSLR camera investment and being behind the lens felt so organic. From then on, I haven’t looked back! I’m excited of where this journey will take me and even more excited for more connections with the ones who drive my creativity to new levels.
The name “Pearl’s Lens” pays homage to my Nana. Whom I’d like to think would have even more of our family pictures all over her living room right now if she could. Those are the types of memories I love to capture - photos that are irreplaceable, timeless, and full of emotion that just HAS to be on display in your grandma’s living room.
Let’s connect and start collecting memories!
