My process
1.BOOK THE DATE
After you’ve chosen the package for you, book with me on my website by clicking ‘BOOK NOW’. A signed contract, session questionnaire, & non-refundable retainer is due to make it official!
2. FINE TUNE THE DETAILS
After booking, if there’s anything we need to plan for like ideal location(s), makeup, wardrobe, must have shots etc. we’ll do this at least 2 weeks before your session.
3.TAKE THE PHOTOS
It’s your time to shine! On shoot day, there’s no need to be nervous - that’s what I’m here for and I’ll guide you every step of the way. No prior experience needed!
4.Deliver memories
Once your photoshoot is complete, I’ll send your proofing gallery within 72 hours. Select your favorite images for me to edit & your final gallery will be sent within 1-2weeks!
What to Expect?
Newborn sessions are ideally scheduled between 5-12 days old and happen either in my private studio located in Gastonia, NC or in the privacy of your own home. I highly recommend booking your newborn session as early as possible to ensure a customizable experience.
You can give me a color to choose setups with wraps and props for your session or if you have a particular outfit you’d like to bring - you’re welcome to do that as well! When you fill out the questionnaire at the time of booking, you can select your preference on props/colors.
The Studio
I opened my studio with a goal in mind for new parents to have comfort in a calm & clean environment equipped with everything you need. All you have to do is show up, and I will take care of everything else! The studio is located in an industrial area, but once you enter you'll find the space to be inviting, warm, and a space you can relax. There's a waiting area, a changing table, and water/snacks for your convenience. Everything is clean and sanitized thoroughly before and after each session as the safety of your newborn is my top priority.
Things to Bring:
- Any outfit(s) or special props for photoshoot
- Outfits for baby to wear to/from session that's easily accessible (full zip onesie)
- Change of clothes for parents, just in case
- Diapers & wipes
- Pacifier, baby bottle/milk, or breast pump/breastfeeding items (anything you’ll need to soothe baby during his/her session)

Where are you based and do you travel?
I’m based in Charlotte, NC with a studio located in Gastonia, NC. Yes, I love to travel! The first 30 miles of travel are included in each base session price. Travel expense is calculated by mileage and will be added into the total cost plus any additional necessary traveling fees.

Can we schedule a consultation or phone call before booking?
Of course! If you're unsure where to start, book a consultation call with me to iron out all of your ideas and details.

What does your editing process look like?
I professionally edit every image in your final gallery to include cropping, color correcting, and exposure adjustments. I blur out small imperfections and blemishes with a soft retouch, clear the background of distracting objects/people, and smooth out areas in the image that are necessary. I do not alter your weight, adjust natural aging, or alter your physical features.

If I cancel, will my retainer be refunded?
Things happen! The retainer is non-refundable but can absolutely be transferred to a new session. Please call as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.
